Exhibits some very minor wear and tear. This system is highly modular and can be configured and adjusted in many different ways;
height adjustability allows this to fit most DSLR cameras.

The "Made in Germany" Cage-System Aptaris makes your system or DSLR camera suitable for accessories and thus enables professional results when filming and photographing.
Suitable for all common cameras
The walimex Pro Aptaris Universal XL Mark II Cage opens up even more possibilities. With its additional 1/4 inch and 3/8 inch threaded holes, accessories such as microphone or film light can be attached even more flexibly. The new and larger handle ensures even more wearing comfort. It also has two 1/4 inch and four 3/6 inch tapped holes. The Universal XL Mk II is suitable for all common cameras such as the Panasonic GH-4, Nikon D800 or Canon 5D Mark III. In short, for those whose hot shoe and tripod threads lie on one axis and do not exceed or fall short of the inside dimensions of the cage. Aptaris is simply attached to the camera via the hot shoe of the camera and the camera screw (1/4 inch thread). An absolute highlight is the height adjustment of the cage, which is done with four Allen screws. This fits the version for a lot of cameras. In addition, two small hooks on the camera plate, which can be individually adjusted depending on the camera, ensure an absolutely non-slip grip.
Greatest flexibility in use
Thanks to a large number of 1/4 inch threads on all sides and a 3/8 inch thread on the underside, a lot of accessories such as microphones or LED lights can be attached as desired. Additional flexibility in use is provided by the adjustable, supplied handle, which can be mounted at the top, bottom or side as needed. This is also the shooting near the ground possible. With the Manfrotto PL 501 standard adapter plate, Aptaris can also be mounted on a Manfrotto tripod. In any case, access to the battery compartment, memory card etc. remains unrestricted.
Many expansion and combination options
Aptaris is a system. That's why you can extend the cage with any number of accessories such as the Aptaris rod module or the shoulder rest module. The Rod Module gives you plenty of room to attach additional accessories such as a Follow Focus and a Mattebox. With a diameter of 15mm, the rods comply with the industry standard, so that the combination with all common accessories is possible. Thanks to the included Rodmodulplatte the rod module can easily be attached via a sliding mechanism on the Aptaris system. With the Aptaris shoulder rest module, you can cast a complete rig out of the cage with just a few simple steps - for even more flexibility, especially in mobile use. Of course, you can also extend Aptaris at any time eg with additional hot shoe adapters or a separate L-bracket.
