Vintage COPPER METAL Cowboy & Lasso on Prancing HORSE Figurine looks like Dodge
Vintage
cowboy twirling a lasso
on his prancing
stallion
cow pony is
copper plated pot metal
/spelter.
This is a fairly close copy of the original created by Dodge and is
heavy
.
Good condition
with typical
age related wear & discoloration and typical mold flaws & seams.
The most noticeable wear is a
rub on the right hind leg
(see photos), and the finish has
minor oxidation
resulting in a sandpapery feel in a few areas.
Twisted copper wire
lasso and
reins are original
.
The
bolt under the horse’s right hind hoof has been reattached
to the hoof with epoxy and retouched. It can still be unscrewed from the base. Four small felt dots were added under the base to pretect furniture.
Aside from the glued bolt, there are no chips, cracks, breaks, or repairs.
If flaws exist in my items, I do my best to show or describe them.
