    Patented Improved Lamp Trimming Scissors
    Patent No 45,574 was issued December 27th 1864 to W. B. Barnard for improvements to lamp trimming scissors. The scissors show some use but have no rust or pitting and still retain a good deal of its original black japanned finish.
    Good scarce civil war period scissors.
